General Show 

 

• Only Cash and Credit Cards accepted. (No checks)

• Any livestock with visible parasites will be sifted and asked to be removed from the barn immediately

• No Refunds

• No outside shavings for Goats, Lambs & Pigs (Savings available for purchase on-site)

• Barn opens on Friday, 11/18/2022 at 5 p.m. for Cattle and Pigs

 

Goats and Lambs

 

• MUST SHOW IN A SHOW to SHOW IN B SHOW

• Goats and Lambs official weigh-in (5 lb. weigh back at the discretion of the judges/show officials)

• Showing off the trailer is encouraged.

• Stalls available for a fee payable to Dripping Springs Ranch Park. 

• Market goats must be wethers or does only, sheared for the show, divided into weight classes, three divisions

• Lambs must be wethers or ewes only, sheared for show and will be divided into breed & weight classes

• (Show A & B). Breeds-Southdown, Dorper, Fine Wool, Fine Wool Cross, Medium Wool 

• Showmanship will be held prior to the goat and lamb shows. (Senior, Intermediate, Junior & PEEWEE) 

• Showmanship $5.00 at the gate.

 

 

Steers

 

• One Show Only

• Steers official weigh-in, you classify. 

• Cattle only may bring in outside shavings

• Steers should be clipped for the show, no dyes or adhesives. Classes are American, British and Exotics and will be then divided by weight

• Showmanship will be held prior to the cattle show. (Senior, Intermediate, Junior & PEEWEE)

• Showmanship $5.00 at the gate.

Heifers

• Cattle only may bring in outside shavings

• Heifers should be clipped for the show, no dyes or adhesives.

• Classes are American, British and Continental and will be then divided by age.

Swine​

• Swine are self weigh-in (10 lb. weigh back, number of weigh backs will be determined by the judge and/or show officials) 

• Limited Pens are available. Minimum of two animals per pen. No Tack Pens. 

• Swine must be barrows or gilts, NO BOARS!

• Swine will be divided into White OPB, Dark OPB, York, Duroc, Hamp and Cross and then divided by weight classes.

• Showmanship will be held prior to swine. (Senior, Intermediate, Junior & PEEWEE)

• Showmanship $5.00 at the gate.
